About
Nia Lee
Nia Lee is a Black, queer, artist and organizer working in food. Nia blends her traditional Black American food lineage with imaginative healing practices to create experimental and fresh new experiences with food. She coined the term Black Food Futurism to encompass her practice. Nia is currently a distinguished Annenberg Civic Media Fellow and artist in residence at the Goatlandia Supper Club in Los Angeles California. She also runs Storme Supper Club, Los Angeles’ only supper club centering queer Black women and non-binary people. She hopes to continue to use this Supper Club as a space for connection, healing, and fantastic food adventures.
